DEVELOPMENT AND INITIATIVE
NGO "Development and Initiative" is Ukrainian organization, which was founded in 2010, aims to promote active citizenship, sustainable development and borderless Europe, youth mobility, youth employment and entrepreneurship. Our main priorities are promotion of youth participation, active civic position and ideas of democracy among young Ukrainians, spreading awareness of mobility opportunities and building up an active civic society via non-formal education projects.
We clearly see the ways how new active generation break stereotypes, develop their selves and the world around. It is so easy to change the question from "Why should I do it?" to "Who will do it if not me?". Only by active participation in social and political life we can renovate our life and became the respectful part of the world society.
SCOUT SOCIETY
Scout Society is an organization founded in 2011 with the primary goal of educating members of the local community through non-formal education to become active citizens in their local communities. Our main focus is young people but in the last 5 years, we started working with the adult population in our region, designing especially activities for them, or having mix projects with activities involving young people and adults/seniors. We have around 10 board members and more than 20 active volunteers and 80 members who activate occasionally for specific projects
NATIONAL YOUTH COUNCIL OF MOLDOVA
National Youth Council of Moldova (CNTM) was registered as a Public Association on the 18th of February 1999 and is an umbrella structure of 34 youth organisations. Its mission is to empower young people to participate actively in society, promote the interests of the young people from Moldova in its relations with government and international institutions, develop youth associative structures through the implementation of program activities, training, and information, advocacy and consulting services.
CNTM promotes children's rights by strengthening the regional and school youth councils' participation in the Governmental Commission's work and supporting the parents' schools associations.
CNTM continually supports and advocates for youth participation in decision-making processes by creating opportunities for young people to develop their competencies; creating tools and support materials to involve youngsters in decision-making processes; consulting and assessing adolescents' involvement in elections, public consultations, etc.
YOUTH MIX
"Youth Mix" is a non-governmental, non-profit youth organization founded in 2013 and officially registered in 2016 by a group of young enthusiasts, who decided to combine their efforts on common goals. Our work is based on non-formal methodology, it is in line with the values and priorities of the European Union and we try to solve problems of youth in different spheres according to that path.
The right to the final settlement of any issue of the organization's operations and management belong to the supreme body of the organization, the General Assembly, which is convened once every two years and currently consists of young people under 30.
Our mission: Boost society betterments by educating, inspiring, and mobilizing young people to raise their voices, and create real change through volunteerism, non-formal education and active citizenship.
Our vision: Shaping the future by unleashing, advancing and utilizing the full potential of youth.
BURGOS
AEGEE-Burgos is a multidisciplinary association, formed by youngsters between 18 and 30 years old. Due to the activities, projects, congresses... developed by its members, the people involved in AEGEE-Burgos have Teamwork skills, they know how to work in international environments with multidisciplinary people, and they have experience in organising events, both small events (for 40 people like the Summer University which is organised in Burgos each summer) and huge events (like the European Planning Meeting for 300 participants).
ETV EuroTreviso
ETV EuroTreviso (ETV) is a non profit organisation established in 2016 by a group of young professionals promoting active citizenship and human rights as well as social inclusion, volunteer activities and international cooperation.
ETV's main goals are:
- Spreading European culture and supporting active participation of citizens in issues related to the European identity;
- Promoting the feeling of belonging to the European Union and supporting young people to actively participate in social life through the organisation of projects where people from all over Europe can meet and exchange views on current and priority issues for their future and their growth;
- Promoting human rights and legality;
- Learning to respect Cultural Diversity;
- Promoting international programme activities as tool for social intervention building a fairer society able to promote peace and justice values
- Helping teachers and social workers to improve their knowledge through non formal education methods.
UMBRELLA
Umbrella is a Georgian youth value-based organisation that is aiming at educate, motivate and activate young people aged 13-30 in Georgia and beyond, in order to be empowered and develop the communities that are coming from. The mission of the organization is to support the young people's progress by creating educational initiatives developing young people's competence in the field of civil society, environment, human rights and democracy in Georgian society. To reach the goal we adopted the strategy of setting-up youth development spaces to attract young people and implement various youth-led activities at local, national and international levels.
