Follow-Up Activity Cyprus

The team from Cyprus made two follow-up activities with the youth workers of our organisation. The first follow-up activity was done in Lyceum of Ayios Ioannis in April 2023 two weeks after the PDA and participants and trainers of the program represented the results and the activities that we have done in the training. In the follow-up activity, there were approximately 20 youth workers who are volunteers in our organisation. This follow-up activity was a presentation of the projects' results, an explanation of the work done, and a presentation of the follow-up videos done during the project.

The second follow-up activity was done in the community Center in Pissouri during our board council elections, where a brief introduction to all the projects of the years was introduced. This follow-up activity was mostly a brief presentation of the projects we had the past year. In this event, about 40 volunteers from our organization were present.

PARTICIPANTS' IMPRESSIONS FROM THE PROJECT:

Constantinos Papaconstantinou: As a representative from ACPELIA from Cyprus, my participation in the "Youth workers LAB - Business in digital age" project has been a rewarding experience. Although I missed the initial training in Cyprus, the second part in Bakuriani, Georgia, made up for it in every way. The program's focus on digital youth entrepreneurship and online youth work perfectly aligned with my personal goals and the organization's goals, and I have gained valuable insights that will enhance our youth-oriented initiatives. The combination of workshops and outdoor team-building activities in such a stunning location was refreshing and helped me build strong connections with other participants and youth workers. I extend my heartfelt appreciation to Acpelia for inviting us to be part of this project and for their seamless coordination that made the entire experience unforgettable.

Maurice Moussa: Participating in the "Youth workers LAB - Business in digital age" project in Bakuriani, Georgia, has been a truly remarkable experience for me. The workshops on digital business and online youth work were not only informative but also inspiring. Even though I also didn't attend the first training in Cyprus, I felt welcomed and included throughout the program. The natural beauty of Bakuriani and the thrill of hiking in the mountains added a unique touch to the overall learning process. I feel fortunate to have met and collaborated with other youth workers from various backgrounds, exchanging ideas and experiences that will undoubtedly shape my future endeavours. I want to express my sincere gratitude to Acpelia for granting me this opportunity and for organizing a project that had a profound impact on my personal and professional growth.

Feidias Iacovides: Being part of the "Youth workers LAB - Business in digital age" project has been an eye-opening and transformative experience for me. The training in Georgia's breathtaking Bakuriani region was an unforgettable journey of learning and personal growth. While I couldn't attend the first activity in Cyprus, the second training provided me with invaluable insights into digital youth entrepreneurship and online youth work. The workshops were thoughtfully designed, and I acquired practical skills that I can implement in my work. Moreover, the team-building activities, especially the hiking in the mountains, allowed us to bond with fellow participants, creating lifelong connections. I am sincerely grateful to Acpelia for this opportunity and their efforts in organizing such a well-rounded and impactful program.
