MOLDOVIAN TEAM

Follow up Activity

The training "Business in the digital age (LAMBIDA)", held in Cyprus, was a good opportunity for the Moldovan team to get knowledges in methodologies and tools for working with young people from other countries, visiting Cyprus was an opportunity to admire the beauty of nature and local culture, taste traditional Greek dishes and visit unbelievable picturesque places.

Before organizing the follow-up activity, we had several online meetings with the team and one offline for discuss and prepare the dissemination activity of the experience gained in Cyprus, during which we planned the dissemination activity and divided the roles and tasks. The exercises has been prepared for the young people from "Clipa Siderală" and focused on the experience gained during the project through inclusive methodologies of non-formal education. We had 22 participants, workers and volunteers of the "Clipa Siderală" center. The activity lasted 45 minutes.

We started the discussion with young people by getting to know each other, we introduced ourselves and talked about the project itself. We also told them about the opportunities offered by the National Youth Council of Moldova for young people and Erasmus+ projects which would take place in the this year. We have motivated them to apply, telling them about all their opportunities. Then I went outside with the young people to do with them an energizer moderated by Natalia. Mihai talked about the Erasmus+ program and the opportunities Erasmus+ offers to young people in Europe and beyond, Andreea debated with young people about the pluses and minuses of digital tools during the period when the Internet has become an important part of our lives, especially in Moldova, where its speed is impressive. The activity was emotional because Victoria spoke to young people about the importance of including all young people in such projects, especially those from under-represented groups. She organized for them the game Step by Step, making them feel in the skin of young people from marginalized groups. After that Victoria explained the benefits of the Youthpass certificate and told them that inclusion starts with our own attitude in family, school, workplace or studies, community and by our example in all spheres of life.

At the end of the day, we reflected with the team that follow-up activity is an excellent way to improve our skills, becoming better in the learning process and implementing the knowledge gained during the project.

PARTICIPANTS' IMPRESSIONS FROM THE PROJECT:

Victoria: This training course was valuable for me through the people I met. In our era, digital skills are a good opportunity for the inclusion of young people from socially vulnerable groups in different activities. I was happy for the opportunity to share in Cyprus with participants from different countries my own work experience in the process of inclusion of young people with disabilities in Moldova, to sensitize them through my own example and how we can make the implemented activities in a participatory format for all. I am looking forward to seeing all participants again in Georgia.

Andreea: This training was one of my favorites, because every day was well planned, starting with group activities, with the energizer, with intercultural activities, etc. Thanks to this course, I had the opportunity to learn new things, talking about inclusion and the problems we have daily, including exchanging experiences with young people from different countries, all contributing to new methodologies in the era of digitization. The digital age makes our daily lives easier, especially in the cases we had with Covid-19, and then with the war. Through this, we can contribute and promote online work. Thanks to everyone and I can't wait to hug you, see you in Georgia.❤️

PARTICIPANTS' IMPRESSIONS FROM THE PROJECT:

Victoria: I liked the fact that the training course in Georgia drew special attention to how to create our own business, which comes with solutions to concrete social problems. We worked together with young people from 8 other countries on different business ideas, developed our own brand, logotype, created a website and realized how important it is to know and capitalize on digital tools to increase your visibility.

I was glad that the training course promoted an inclusive and collaborative environment between participants. I was also pleasantly surprised by the fact that some of the ideas promoted were oriented towards increasing the social inclusion of people with disabilities and raising awareness of society as a whole. One of the ideas developed within the project was to create an online platform "Inclusive Job Hub" to help people with disabilities find a job. Even though we come from different backgrounds and spheres of activity, each of the participants had the opportunity to share their own vision, experience and good practices.

Natalia: In Georgia, 32 representatives from 8 countries got the opportunity to learn how to create their own business and about modern tools for its development.

We learned about Simon Sinek's theory of the Golden Circle by studying project idea development. It was very interesting to learn about 3 competition areas and their components and try to create our own business idea, develop a brand, logo, create a website and much more. I sincerely thank you for the opportunity to increase our knowledge and practical skills for our trainers. This knowledge turned out to be very useful.
